Description

A Behavior Technician (BT), Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), or Applied Behavior Analysis Technician (ABAT) is a paraprofessional who works directly with individuals (often individuals with autism) to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) intervention plans, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior reduction. Under the supervision of a BCBA/QBA, they deliver one-on-one therapy in homes, community, schools, or clinics to build communication, social, and daily living skills.

Requirements

Qualifications:
  • RBT/ABAT certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience working with children preferred
  • Strong communication skills
