JJD Learning Academy mission is to change lives through quality education, humanity, trustworthiness, compassion, and integrity to help those in need today prosper tomorrow. We do this through offering k-12 educational programs, tutoring, housing opportunities, animal shelters, and recreational activities and sports. Also by giving back to the community offering scholarship programs and vouchers for everyday necessities. To complete our mission, we will serve as a beacon of light for individuals on their journey searching for a path of meaning and purpose in life. Elementary and Secondary Education

K-12 educational programs are provided by teachers with college-level degrees, qualifying them for the academic duties required to educate students through in-person and virtual opportunities. JJD Learning Academy will house students and staff within the program in a facility that offers outdoor access for the children to interact with peers and build relationships.

ABOUT US
JJD Learning Academy organization was founded in November 2023 to accommodate individuals throughout the community that's often identified as underprivileged. The corporation's goals are to offer individuals an outlet to experience the finer things in life that they may not have ever gotten a chance to experience during their childhood due to living in poverty. The organization aims to teach and empower the youth through a great lesson that just because you were born into an unfortunate situation does not mean you have to settle for less. The corporations will inspire the youth to dream big and work hard to accomplish their goals. The organization is 501c3 approved, and the donors can deduct all contributions.




Shanika Coleman
Nonprofit President
Mrs. Shanika Coleman is the founder of JJD Learning Academy and has dedicated over 12 years to the field of education. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education in July 2017 and her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction in June 2024. In addition to her work in education, Mrs. Coleman entered the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), where she has gained extensive experience working with individuals with autism. She has earned multiple certifications, including ABAT, QASP-S, and QBA, and is certified as a Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in the state of North Carolina. Passionate about continuous learning, Shanika is committed to advancing her knowledge and skills to better serve children and families. With a heart for helping, she supports parents in implementing effective strategies and promoting functional communication skills to strengthen family connections. Beyond her professional work, Shanika actively gives back to her community by volunteering at the local recreational center, coaching soccer and partnering with families to encourage growth, teamwork, and community engagement.
